Members of the Horticultural Trades Association ( HTA ) and Association of Professional Landscapers ( APL ) are celebrating achiever as they showcase their olympian talent with advanced garden design , landscape gardening and display this week at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2024 . This year is hail by the RHS as its most sustainable show yet , with all show garden having conk out through an environmental audited account to reduce their environmental wallop .
Over 20 of the esteemed medals were award to HTA and APL member , including the 2024 Plant of the Year Prunus ' Starlight ' , an ornamental cerise blossom tree with unique white star star - shaped flowers , which was supply by member Frank P Matthews .
