Spring blooms in Northern California
My name is Donna Vail . I was in the GPOD last October ( A Garden to Linger In ) . I exist in Crescent City , California . I ’m in Zone 9 and last in the coastal redwoods area . The most exciting time of the year has arrived for me , which is outflow .
This depiction shows the fresh spring development on my dual weeping cherry tree tree(Prunussubhirtella‘Pendula Flora Plena ’ , zone 5–8 ) , along with a new redwood in the screen background and a birdhouse my neighbor made and I paint .

A dwarfJapanese maple(Acer palmatum , Zones 5–9 ) .
These doublehelleboresin the Wedding Party series(Helleborus× hybridus , Zones 4–9 ) have dainty tumid flowers between 2 and 3½ inch wide .
Another dwarfJapanese maple .

More violas .
A boxwood(Buxus , Zones 5–9 ) in the foreground withsnapdragons(Antirrhinum majus , annual ) , alstroemeria , and a Nipponese maple .
ARhododendronimpeditum(Zones 6–9 ) . This mintage is very compact , growing to just 1 - 1/2 human foot magniloquent and full of tiny bloom 5/8 column inch long .
