This is one of my absolute favorite combos from NYC ’s Central ParkConservatory Garden . I love how the flower of the fennel ( hmmm . Is it fennel ? Dill ? You recount me … ) undulation in the breeze and move as a veil to the ‘ Pretoria ’ canna ( USDA Hardiness Zones 8 - 11 ) . TheSalvia vanhouttei(Zones 9 - 11 ) adds a turn of unusual color – kind of a coloured , dark-skinned plum .
