In a Vase on Monday. Mellow Yellow.
Again I am unite in withCathy’smeme . I remember everyone who has joined in is finding it a snatch habit-forming . I have a busy hebdomad this workweek and have n’t really the time . But having a quick walk round the garden I found myself think that the Lupin was a complete lucifer for the Alstroemeria and how lovely they would look with the Pilgrim move up and some pick Aruncus and then I just had to try it . See what you have done to us Cathy . We are all plan cutting garden now .
asunder from arranging them , the job is trying to get a decent photograph when you are in a hurry . You get a really good shot and then actualise your pile of ironing is visible in the nook . I have n’t got time to fiddle about today , so the first one is without flash and look a minute washed out . The next shot is with the flashbulb and that is not right either . But at least you ca n’t see my ironing wad . The flowers are the David Austin rose:’The Pilgrim’,Alstroemeria , Lupin , Digtalis luteawhich is a double-dyed couple for the lupine although you ca n’t quite see that on the exposure . I have used a yellowPhlomisand some footling release of mySantolina . The creamy foam is Goat ’s beard : AruncusdioicusThe sword lily is the wildIris foetidissimawhich bulge out up every where , but I do n’t mind , it is rather pretty . I have used some of my kickshaw whiteClematis recta , a yellow eve primrose , and a spray of the invasiveLysimachiawhich no one in their right judgement would found . I have it because it was in with a endearing Hosta that a Quaker gave me . It is by the big pond and so it can frolic away if it wants . Their is a little spray of white candytuft which seeds itself each year in the front garden ; I was run to use myOrlayagrandiflorawhich is wonderful for flush order but I am redeem it for a big social occasion this weekend . There is a little nebulizer ofAnthemis‘Sauce Hollandaise ’ .
The foliation is a frothyEuphorbiaand , Physocarpus opulifolius‘Dart ’s Gold . I have reprocess theBriza media‘Limouzi ’ and theStipa giganteafrom last week .

Why do n’t you go over toramblinginthegardenand see what everyone else is frame in a Vase on Monday ?

I love this arrangement , Chloris ! My favorite color in a variety of incarnation . Looking at it is like a hurrying tour of your garden . I like I could rise all those plants here on the far side of the area across the pond .
