Deliberately plan to be build in situ , the construction requires no power cable’s length tail out of your theater , simply a assault and battery - power drill gadget driver and a hired hand find out . you’re able to totally strip and repaint the door first if you wish well , especially if your doors are very mismatched in style and finish , but I love the original moth-eaten gist of the paint create by the old paint flaking off .

you’re able to add additional , higher shelving if you require , to suit your needs . The glazing allows brightness through to your grow flora .

Items to Source

• 3 previous doors of the same height• hinges ( if none on doors)• salvaged scaffold boards for shelves and roof supports• corrugate Sn ( for roof)• screws , natural rubber washers and cut across

1Screw Doors Together

pick the door with sugar soap to remove grime . You   can sand and paint them if you trust , but I just get it on the   original patina on these . desex the three doors together , using   the original hinges and ass if present .

2Mark Off Shelves

Measure the internal width of the shed , mark and cut out   shelves to suit using scaffold boards . ( We will utilize the   offcuts to create the wedges for the ceiling afterwards . )

This ledge will   be useful for store plant , potting up and most importantly   creating a rigid secure structure .

TAKE YOUR MEASURE FROM THE BACK WALL

3Attach Shelves

Fit the shelves to the side and   rear door to create structural   inflexibility through the doorway using   foresightful screws . you could also add together   battens for extra livelihood . As the   shelf may get wet , I ’ve decided to   wax mine rustic brown .

Tip : As this is a with child   bodily structure you may require   avail . Either expend clamps   or involve a champion .

4Cut Roof Supports

Mark and snub the wedges to sit on   top of the side room access . Angle from   higher at the front to frown at the   back – this will create a natural   run - off for water , spill away   from the door to keep drips   as you enter .

5Paint and Fix Wedges

Paint or mount the wedges and front support . I ’ve drop dead for matching insidious colour , but you could create a characteristic using a bold colour if you ’re feeling brave .

6Cut Front Piece

Using another offcut of scaffold board , make a sustenance for the cap across the front of the shed .

7Cut Tin for Roof

valuate your structure and append about 5 centimetre ( 2 - inches ) on each boundary to ensure you have an overhang large enough to prevent drive rainfall , but not so big that the wind gets in underneath . Cut and sandpaper the rough boundary carefullyusing an angle grinder .

8Attach Roof

Fit the corrugated tin roof using screws with rubber washer and covers . Fit these on the higher corrugation to preclude water sitting the till seeping through the jam .

you could also sum a few hook shot to hang tools from , if you like .

fill up with plants and look up to your ready to hand employment .
