Here ’s what Cherry had to say .
Swags were my primary plant craft last year , as I was too belated to pick up those novel and full instinctive garland at Costco . I used some leaves(Thuja‘Forever Goldie ’ ) , flowers(Hydrangeapaniculata‘Quickfire ’ ) , and berries(Callicarpabodinieri)from my own little garden .

loot with beautyberries and thuja farewell . Last year was my first time to usebeautyberriesfor holiday decor , and my acquaintance who encounter them as gifts say they fare well through the holiday season . As usual , I augment with some store - buy items .

I also worst up some container , mostly ofsucculents , as vacation endowment in plus to the swags . A good friend sent me his unused sinamay material , which came in handy for wrapping these container - garden giving .
For my vacation tabular array , I decide to flip-flop up my usual coastal musical theme ( admittedly , I was too lazy to switch them out ) by offering up my favorite Mangave Moonglow as a centerpiece . I then insert in some resin starfishes as stress . I figure that since I have so manyoverwinteredhouseplants / succulents , I might as well put them to good use alternatively of buy flowers .
Any leftovers were used for floral arrangements indoors .

In the aliveness area , I decked out a blue coral centrepiece with some mini LEDs andtillandsias . The glass devilfish decoration is a cherished talent from my daughter .
It ’s not your common vacation Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree , but I retrieve it ’s pretty festive for the time of year .
