Fall at the Studio Cottage (aka She Shed)
This workweek has been drop mostly in my studio apartment bungalow , one of my favorite dapple to be . you’re able to read all about my bungalow and how we build itHERE .
It has been one of the best investments we have made . I use it just about day by day and I am in the physical process of redecorating it . I have wads of ideas for interior decoration on my list I want to divvy up but that is for another day . Today it is all about the front porch . So here we go … Fall at the Studio Cottage !
Last week I trimmed back the rose and scrubbed the walls beside the Gallic Doors . I still need to get to the area above the doors scrub but that will take a ladder and I was impatient to get to the playfulness and colorful part . Here she is all bland . It had just rain , thus the brumous sky .

I have piles of Mums I keep open from last Fall . I ca n’t stick out to just thresh a perfectly good plant life so as Fall wanes I either plant them in the garden or I keep them in pot and huddle them up against my greenhouse or under my back deck . They live on to be beautiful another Clarence Day .
My Garden benchI have feature on myCottage porch before , it is the perfect sizing to set here and be pretty . I repaint it this year , I tested out a gloss from Plaid FolkArt on it , it is called Farmhouse Ochre , it is part of their Milk Paint line .
The window baby-sit on the bench is my practice piece . I am paint some window at the gallery where I sell my artistic creation and I want to test my idea out ahead of clock time . I just love the colors , I could n’t help but let in it on my Fall porch .

I will have to take in the Begonia , the night temporary worker will get too low shortly for it to make it . I am going tooverwinter it indoors . My lobelia will go into the glasshouse . Sometimes they make it sometimes they do n’t but I easy startthem from seedsso I do n’t sweat it much .
My Nipponese Maples are shedding their leaves . I have a short ton that I started from seeds and each has a different color in Fall . you may see a few on each side of the cottage .
you could see a couple of them well in this shaft . They are all in mess and I am having a concentrated time choosing spot in my garden to plant them . I just may keep them in pots and move them about as I care .

Now off to paint the gallery window I go .
Have a Happy Fall Day !
