A few yr back , as we train for a move from our traditional suburban home to our 1054 square foot “ Simple House ” at the farm , we plump through one of the most incredible downsizing project ever . We address it the 365 One - A - Day Project .

Every day , for an entire yr , we donated , afford away , betray , recycled , or at last resort , throw away one excess possession . To this day , it is without a dubiousness still the most cathartic experience we have gone through . It taught us that we surely did n’t involve all of the thing that we had accumulated in our traditional “ suburban ” home .

We are so excited as we plan the next chapter of our life in Tennessee , and ca n’t wait to portion out the detail over the coming months and years . We have learned so much in downsize from our last move to the farm . Here is what we have it off for sure . Our next home will be even smaller , and it will be construct with a 100 % low-spirited - maintenance programme in mind . That means no openhanded 1000 to mow , and building with perpetually material . Everything we have sex and bask will be build on the smallest lot possible . Less quad , less maintenance .
It is a wide-eyed plan : a little theater , a minor area for the garden , and the eternal rest of the space turned into an outdoor living area . With no space wasted .
There is an overwhelming lulu in simplicity . We want to be able to enjoy the infinite , but still have time to move around , write and babble out gardening and food .
The live edge wine rack will be in the barn sale as well.
We have several designs we are working on , and we ca n’t wait to apportion them in the coming months . One thing is for certain , much like with the wide-eyed house , we gain so much from everyone ’s feedback and suggestions .

In the near future , we will host a one day b sale at Old World Garden Farms . We image why not make a merriment sidereal day out of it . So , we will put on a braggy pot of soup over the open fire for all to relish , put on a little music , and downsize off !
Up for sale is nearly everything from the house , barn and farm except the few affair we involve to take with us . That includes benches , chair , table , farm tables , sawhorse , some putz , furniture , kitchen detail , rampart hangings , vino rack , barn door , barn Mrs. Henry Wood , supererogatory garden tools , and more .
As we move closer to the Clarence Shepard Day Jr. of the sale , we will station a comprehensive leaning of detail for those interested ..
