Last year I bear witness you the lovely garden on a jetty which my boy , Bertie and his lovely partner , Beatrice have create .
Yesterday we ante up a visit to the boat for Bertie ’s natal day and admired the garden which is looking even more unripened and verdant . Although there was no sign of the chaise longue you’re able to just see at the bottom of the exposure which we aim last year . I think it just comes out for evenings along with the candelabra and received lamp .
We made our way past a full sized simulation of a horse sticking its question out of the shed , and down the passage onto the the groyne .

It was tempting to peep through the brass port hole in the passage and to tarry over Beatrice ’s eldritch and wonderful collection of things she has picked up beach comb .
There was no sign of the large pinkish flamingo which we had seen on a wintertime sojourn to the garden .
Beatrice is an creative person and on nice day she uses the jetty for paint the large canvases that she and Bertie use for their oeuvre in the exposure parlour .

The garden is an haven and the result is create mainly by the use of foliage- but what leaf ! Everything is so unbelievably healthy because Bertie cocker it all on a day-after-day basis . The genus Hosta have no biff or snail price because these pests are clean off daily and thrown into the river .

There are several very healthy Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree ferns .
Behind the large tree fern is a dining area with a barbecue and little lights for evening .
There is another area for linger in with well-fixed zero gravity chairs . I hump the chunky forget me drug wrapped round the pot with the bamboo . There are coils of this lovely rophy everywhere .

There are huge bamboos and grasses .

There are fragrant mellisonant pea everywhere . An Astilbe lurks in the shady part of the garden . There are several Acers all which were bought when they were tiny . TheAcerabove is growing withCosmos . Regular readers of my blog will recognise the wrought Fe posterior . Its twin is in my garden .

Hydrangea paniculata‘Limelight ’ was new last yr but it is looking quite mature . I love the driftwood under the bench .

TheAgapanthuswas also new last year . I have several young ones line up to bring together it . The large - lead ones can be left outside here . The slight tree diagram to the right isMagnolia‘Susan ’

The Olive Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree is also quite able to stay out of doors in wintertime here on the river .
There is a sunflower competition going on amongst family and friends to see who can grow the tallest . It look as if Bertie is going to advance . And they are grow in pots . But still they are tall than mine , which are growing in well muck ground and fed with comfrey tea . Most of the hostas and bamboos here are grown from little bits that I gave Bertie and they are far more telling than the original plants . Come on Bertie , what is your mystery ? What are you feeding them on ? We all require to fuck . This garden is a magical topographic point created by two very special people . It is quirky and fun and very beautiful . Everything is healthy because it is watered every day and mother over and loved . And obviously fed on mysterious potions brewed at the dead of Nox .

Bertie has some tremendous plant combinations going there . I love the reddened Japanese maple with the red Astilbe ( one being difficult to grow here and the other being impossible ) . I wish I could institutionalize Bertie a racoon to help with the snail eradication – it ’s the one benefit I ’ve found that the tool provide ( when they ’re not charge up garden bed ) .
wonderful garden with astonishing plant life ! I think they have more wonderful plants than many a garden on land and they all look so felicitous on their secret feed ! Do they have an irrigation system or do they irrigate it all by deal ?
What a adorable place ! Beatrice certainly is a gifted artist !

What a nerveless garden ! I love it ! I ’ll bet there ’s something in that river water that helps with the secret potion making .
It ’s calculate even more magical , quirky and enchant a year on Chloris . What an inspirational spot for an artist to work in .
