Our finale to a farewell tour of a garden full of love and memories
Hi GPODers !
Today we continue our parting spell of Alice Fleurkens ’ garden in Sweaburg , Ontario . If you missed it , pleasecheck out Part 1 , which includes links to some of her previous submissions . To keep this final look of a garden we ’ve seen so many sentence , here are a few more postal service from the archive : High Summer in Alice ’s Garden , Summer Blooms in Canada , andFall to Winter .
Our back yard . That Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree was here when we moved in , we either had to cut it down or trim it up because of where it was . We decided to keep it . It is get really braggy . But the birds love it and the garden beneath it does okay . I like the fern hanging on the bottom . It does great in that spot . In the spring I put back it with a new one .

This is the purview from our back window , we will miss that . I am hope for another window with a decent horizon .
A lovely banana palm(Enseteventricosum‘Maurelii ’ , zone 9–11)that will soon be block unhappily the fleeceable leaves beside it are eddoes(Colocasiaantiquorum , Zones 7–9 ) . They cue me of elephant ear bulb so I planted them and they look rather nice .
Alice ’s back garden is just as endearing , if not even more beautiful , at dusk as it is during the twenty-four hour period . Bright green leafage and bright begonia blooms radiate in the setting Dominicus ’s rays .

The tree(potentially Scarlet Fire ® cornel [ Cornuskousa‘Rutpink ’ , Zones 5–8]?)I wish for is in Nova Scotia . We were there in the summer and what a glorious dogwood this is . I never see one that color . Where we last they have white flowers and blossom in the spring .
Thisclematisgifted to me by a friend is so pretty , so all the tulips , narcissus , clematis etc , they will not see till spring .
Alice ’s garden beds delight all yearlong , but I conceive they really shine in spring when her tulip slip the show . She has so many gorgeous kind in such a fun , hot color pallet . Alice mentions below and in preceding meekness that several of her tulips are giving , make the planting even more particular .

Gift form my sister in law . Beautiful frilly tulips and she help me plant them too .
A few more .
The last one(a beautifulNelly Moser clematis[Clematis‘Nelly Moser ’ , Zones 4–11 ] ) , and sadly is it serious bye to all this .

– Alice and my husband Albert , who has cut the supergrass , and done the edging , and helped me bring by trailers full of all in plants every year . dig out up overgrown zebra grass etc . And it is on to the next seat .
We already ca n’t wait to see what you produce in your new place , Alice ! Leaving behind so many extra plants bond to so many memory is incredibly difficult , but many more memories await . Thank you for share this astonishing final turn of the beautiful gardens you created .
